Little Light of Mine
A sequence of photos based on my experience with thanatophobia (the extreme fear of death) as a child, and how the teachings of the church fear mongered me further into a state anxiety. The visual story I created represents me as an adult showing up for my younger self after learning to cope and sitting in the space with her to show her how much she'll grow.

Visuals for my research project presented in a panel at the Midwest Modern Language Association Conference 2025. In the panel discussion for Gothic Fiction, the research shared the impact of using children as a tool to invoke the uncanny effect. Images were taken to replicate research findings.
